Security Policies
In the past, the general public has had concerns about the level of security on the Internet. However, significant improvements in technology over the last few years now mean that online bets and transactions are more secure than those made through traditional methods, such as the telephone.
At Pools Predict Gaming security is our number one priority, so we have a number of measures in place to ensure that all your online transactions with us are safe and secure.
Pools Predict. Security Software
Pools Predict uses Secure Socket Layer SSL technology on all the pages that deal with your personal information, including your username and password, credit card details and personal details. SSL uses encryption to make confidential information meaningless to anyone looking at it - it converts information that you provide into a complex code that only the footballpools.com System can interpret.
Your data is encrypted before it leaves your computer and is only retranslated when it reaches our secure server, which nobody except authorised personnel at Pools Predict can access. This means that no one will be able to read this information as it is broadcast across the internet. So even if someone were able to monitor the flow of information between you and our server they would not be able to open it, read it, download it, understand it or translate it.
Information which is automatically encrypted includes:
All your personal information
Credit/Debit card number
All your account and transaction details
Thawte
As confirmation that Pools Predict. uses secure technology and that it is safe to transact with us, Pools Predict is endorsed by Thawte. Thawte is globally recognized as an indicator of safe sites on the Internet.
You can check this certificate for yourself by clicking on the Site Security logo below or wherever you see it on the sites. This verification has nothing to do with Pools Predict you will be connected to the Thawte site who will independently verify our sites security.
